Always install printer cleaning cycle, deep cleaning and alignment after installing new ink cartridges in your printer. Print some test pages to ensure proper ink flow and correct alignment.
If the printer does not recognize the cartridge, remove the cartridge and gently erase the electrical contacts of the cartridge using a clean paper towel or a kind of tree free cloth. It is to remove dust and residue which can block electrical contacts from the printer.
If the printer still does not recognize the cartridge, try removing unfamiliar cartridges, turn off the power on the printer and unplug the printer for approximately 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the printer back on and power backup and restore the cartridge and print.
For cartridge with print head, the cartridge is sometimes kept flat or inverted for weeks or months, so the ink print is not reaching the head, which prevents the new ink cartridge from printing. To clean, hold the cartridge slowly with a print head on a moist paper towel until the ink flow appears. Restore ink cartridges and prints.
